Mechanical Engineering Project Manager

Job Description

You are responsible for overseeing and producing prototype machines from the initial quote through to delivery to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Person with final responsibility for the entire project:

• Preparing and updating the schedule.

• Communication with the customer.
  • Monitoring the project team's efficiency
  • Purchasing and monitoring of purchased components, manufactured parts, and subcontractors (on-time delivery).
  • Overseeing the entire project in consultation with the managers of the various departments.
  • Completion.
  • Billing.
  • Contract Follow-Up.
  • Follow-up care.
• Responsible for promptly reporting project deviations that affect finances, deadlines, and quality.
• Responsible for complying with and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations on the construction site, as well as CE standards.
• You will also help foster good relationships with our customers.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things,

• Documenting the machine's operating principles.
• Cost Estimate for Prototype Machine Construction.
• Be able to conduct technical negotiations.
• Monitor technical and budgetary aspects, scheduling, and quality at every stage of the project.
• Participate in the final design review and approval of the concept.
• Approval for ordering purchased parts and manufacturing parts.
• Provide leadership and support to the project team.
• Conducting conversations with the customer.
• Preparing the machine for operation.
• Leading the project team in preparing handover documents, compiling the technical construction dossier, and obtaining CE certification.

Profile

• Master's or bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Good communication skills
• Leadership
• Experience with CAD systems
• Experience with Excel and Word
• Creative mindset
• Problem-solving and taking initiative
